How to connect iPad / iPhone to IAS wireless network

To register your iPad / iPhone so you can connect to the IAS wireless network:

1.       Go to Settings

2.       Select Wi-Fi

3.       Under the heading "Choose a Network"

4.       Select IAS

5.       You will receive a DHCP Registration page.

Enable wireless on Mac OSX machine

To use wireless on your Mac OSX machine, you will need to make sure your machine has the appropriate wireless hardware installed.

Please see steps below to enable wireless on your mac osx machine.

  1. Click the AirPort icon in the menu bar, and select Turn Airport On.
  2. Select IAS to connect to the wireless network.

How to connect to IAS wireless

The Institute for Advanced Study has wireless access points set up on campus and at housing. The wireless SSID is "IAS".

Steps to connect to wirelss:

  1. You will need to connect to IAS wireless from your laptop.
  2. You will need to launch any Internet Browser and you will be directed to the following page: https://regdhcp.net.ias.edu/reg/index.php
  3. Fill out the form and click on submit. You will be asked to reboot your machine and once the machine has rebooted and connected to the IAS wireless you can safely browse the web.
