Opening or creating multiple iPhoto libraries
iPhoto lets you switch among multiple libraries, which is a great way to keep your personal photos separate from your work-related ones. To create a new library, hold down the Option key (or the ALT key) on your keyboard as you launch iPhoto and you’ll be prompted to either choose an existing library or create a new one.
